April, 2013: Knight Johnson's Bryan Knight represented one of two purchasers of real property that each purported to hold a valid and binding purchase agreement. A specific performance suit was filed. Mr. Knight prevailed at the injunction hearing, which sought to suspend the closing.
January, 2013: Knight Johnson's Bryan Knight represented one of Georgia's largest commercial landscape supply companies in a contract dispute with distributor. The trial court ruled in favor of Mr. Knight and the The Georgia Court of Appeals affirmed.

October, 2012: Knight Johnson's James Johnson represented a residential developer in a foreclosure confirmation hearing against a bank. Mr. Johnson prevailed and the court ordered no resale. Mr. Johnson's client was released from a $600,000 deficiency judgment.

July, 2012: Knight Johnson's Bryan Knight represented Georgia's largest commercial door manufacturer in a suit against a general contractor. The suit involved payment disputes, defects, and delay damages. On the eve of trial Mr. Knight's client was offered a full settlement.
July, 2012: Knight Johnson's Bryan Knight represented large hotel owner in suit against bank. After a two-day receiver hearing, the bank's receiver motion was denied.
June, 2012: Knight Johnson represents apartment developer in suit against bank for failure to fund construction draws. After five day jury trial, jury awards apartment developer over $800,000, releases developer from $2,500,000 loan, and allows developer to keep the property. October, 2011: Bryan Knight and James Johnson testify at congressional hearing held by Congressman Westmorland regarding treatment of borrowers and collection techniques implemented by the FDIC, loss share banks, and Rialto.
